On the one hand - slower than frozen molasses. On the other - portable bomb shelter. 8/10, would convert to a two person camper and go on trips with it.

The slowest car I ever drove was a 12 (maybe 18?) horsepower Fiat 500... I imagine this would be the same, minus the crushing anxiety about getting run-over I felt every time I pulled into traffic and couldn't accelerate over 30 mph...

My folks put me in the slightly more powerful 140 HP 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis Colony Park wagon, in baby blue. It was certainly tough.

I'd drive that like crazy. I love those massive, old, American estate cars.

I'm doing that with a minivan this summer. It's actually really comfortable if you bring out two cars. Put the supplies in one and sleep in the van.

That is a 1978 model at the latest. The 1979 LTD was the 1st year of the Panther chassis. This body style spanned the 1975 - 1978 model years. This wagon is basically the same size as an Excursion. Think about that for a minute.
We had a 77 LTD, biggest POS we have ever owned. 79 LTD was one of the better ones.
